Thought I'd post up how I've been working lately in terms of comic book pages. The examples I'll be using are for my senior project, which is based off the Korean monster, Gumiho.
First thing that I always try to do after getting an idea of a story I want to draw, thumbnail and design characters. Thumbnailing kinda helps me compose and design the pages, since just typing out a script never seems as tangent and helpful as a visual guideline.
I use a template of 2"x3" for each thumbnail page and just go from there. I kinda like the idea of thumbing out at least 5 pages at a time so you kinda always have a good idea of what your next pages will look like.

Quick Sketches
As the title says.
A quick sketch off of an image I googled for reference for my Senior Project.
Art history classes seem to go by real slow. I do like drawing in this style every now and then, though, I have no idea what I was thinking with the arms...

Comic Page Sample
An example of one of the most recent comic pages that I've done. It's also one of my favorite pages in terms of the way I inked it.
